At the XIV Pan American School Chess Championship 2025, Joanne finished fifth in the U13 girls section.
At the 2025 Langley Open, RCC coach Jason secured first place in the Open section, earning a spot in this year's BC Closed Championship. Meanwhile, student Avery achieved a tie for third place in the U1100 section.
In the 2025 North American Youth Chess Championships (NAYCC), Joanne Wangluo achieved fifth place and a tie for third in the U14 girls section, marking the highest result among Canadian participants in that category.
